DRAFT — body needs Carlos’s review before launch.
The water at Caño is some of the clearest on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. If you came for reefs and not just rainforest, this is the tour. The reserve is protected, the snorkel sites are well-mapped, and the boat ride out is its own bit of nature — dolphins on the way is common.
The itinerary above is a guide. The captain adjusts based on weather and sea conditions, and the guide picks the snorkel sites for the day depending on visibility and currents.
What to bring
Sandals or flip-flops, shorts, t-shirt, sunblock (reef-safe if you can), water, a waterproof camera if you have one.
